  1. Create a Dictionary<Int32,Int32> variable and name it dictionary.
  2. Add an Assign activity inside the initial Sequence.
  3. In the Assign To field, add the dictionary variable.
  4. In the Assign Value field, write new Dictionary(Of String) since its default value is null.
  5. Under the Assign activity, add an Add To Dictionary activity.
  6. In the Add to Dictionary Dictionary field, add the dictionary.
  7. In the Add to Dictionary Key field, write 1.
  8. In the Add to Dictionary Value field, write 20. This means the Key 1 has the value of 20.
  9. Under the Add to Dictionary activity, add a Write Line activity.
  10. In the Write Line Text field, write dictionary(1).ToString.
  11. Under the Write Line activity, add a Clear Dictionary activity.
  12. In the Clear Dictionary Dictionary field, add the dictionary variable.
  13. Copy the first Write Line activity and then paste it after the Clear Dictionary activity.

The use case should look as the following screenshot:

This should be the result in the Output panel. Notice that there would be an error message after the first Write Line activity because the dictionary variable was already cleared thus resulting for the second Write Line activity to fail.
