Entering values in Excel is quite easy and with this tutorial, it will show you how to enter values in Excel using RAX EDITOR. First, create a sample Excel Worksheet where we will enter the values and save it as "Sample File". Now, follow these steps to enter values in the Excel Worksheet using RAX EDITOR:

Step 1. Open RAX EDITOR and create a new workflow.

Step 2. Drag an Excel Sequence activity and drop it inside the Main Sequence.

Step 3. On the File Path input field, search and select "Sample File" that you have created earlier by clicking the browse button beside the input field.

Step 3. Drag an Update Cell activity and drop it inside the Excel Sequence.

Step 4. Enter "Hello RAX!" in the Value input property of the Update Cell activity.

Step 5. Drag an Update Row activity and drop it inside the Excel Sequence after the Update Cell activity.

Step 6. Now, let's try to enter customer's name, their address, and contact number. Start by changing "Sheet1" to "Customers" on the Worksheet input property then enter {"Customer's Name","Address","Contact Number"} in the Values input property of the Update Row activity.

Step 7. Drag another Update Row activity and drop it inside the Excel Sequence. Again, change "Sheet1" to "Customers" on the Worksheet property field. Then in the Row input field, we want to insert the data in the next row so, change "1" to "2". For the Values, enter the dummy data of an employee {"John Santos","Manila, Philippines","09123456789"}.

Step 8. Add another Update Row activity inside the Excel Sequence for the next customer. Again, change the value of Worksheet to "Customers" and Row to "3". For the sample values, type {"Nicole Rivers","Cebu, Philippines","09987654321"} in Values input field.

Step 9. Next, add an Update Column activity inside the Excel Sequence. Let's say you want to add another column for their email address. Change the value of Worksheet to "Customers" and Column to "D". For the sample values, type {"Email Address","santosjohn@gmail.com","riversnicole@gmail.com"} in the Values input field.

Now that you're done, save your workflow and execute it. The output in the Sample Sheet worksheet should look like this:
